The importance of training in the workplace

Here is a test for insanity: Doing the same thing time and time again, expecting a different result.

Interpretation: If you don’ train your employees and they stay with you, do you pass the test for insanity?

It is all too common that organisations focus and provide feedback to employees based on results (for example, KPIs, conversion statistics, revenue generated, efficiency). This only identifies the difference between the achieved result and the desired outcome. Unfortunately, it does not address the behaviours required to achieve the desired outcome.
